Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit Recalibration Kit; 6:1 Ratio

Fine Tune Fuel Mixture. Vortech’s Fuel Management Units are a great investment to keep your Mustang running at an optimal fuel-to-air ratio under forced-induction applications. Unfortunately, when you tune your engine with different components or swap out your stock injectors for beefier ones, you’ll need to compensate for these changes with a proper kit with the appropriate gain ratio. That’s why Vortech offered the Mustang Standard Fuel Management Unit Recalibration Kit with a 6:1 gain ratio to recalibrate your FMU for bigger fuel injectors and new aftermarket additions to your air intake to maintain the proper fuel mixture.

Preserve Engine Integrity. Tuning your engine may seem like an easy hack, but it could end up doing more harm than good if done improperly. For example, running your engine too lean increases friction between mechanical components, injuring your engine's health and efficiency. Fortunately, this recalibration kit allows Vortech’s FMU to compensate for these changes and regulate the proper amount of fuel output for that optimal range between 10:8 and 11:5:1.

6:1 Ratio. This kit is perfect for Vortech FMUs with an oversized 4:1 ratio or undersized 12:1, 10:1, or 8:1 ratios to account for fuel injector ranges between 30-38lbs/hr.

Disc/Plate Calibrator. Vortech’s disk and plate calibrator kit allow for easy tuning of your FMU by hand. In addition, this kit includes a redesigned diaphragm for the utmost quality and durability.

Application. The Mustang Standard Fuel Management Unit Recalibration Kit is compatible with all Ford Mustang, though some adaptation may be required.
