      Description

      Increases Output of GT Engine. Invigorate your Mustang 1996-1998 GT to higher levels with the Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit. Although the factory configuration is set at 215 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque, expect this Supercharger to enable your 4.6L V8 engine to produce 290 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. That’s an incredible increase of 75 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque. 

      Tuner Kit. This Vortech Supercharger System includes a V-2 Si-Trim, and the required belts, pulleys and brackets needed for installation. This kit does not include fuel components or calibration, custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

      Calibration Required.       Installation of this Vortech Supercharger System will require the use of a Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for operation. Required fuel-system upgrades are not included.

      Three-Year Limited Warranty. For three years after the date of purchase, Vortech covers this kit for any defects in its material and workmanship.

      Expert-Level Installation. This tuner kit comes with all the parts necessary for complete installation, which is rated at an expert level of mechanical expertise and can take well over six hours.

      Application. This satin finish Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit is designed to fit 1996-1998 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with the SOHC 4.6L V8 engine. Shipped with a satin finish, it is sold as a kit.

      Please Note: Vortech Supercharger System are built to order by Vortech for our customers. Because of this there can be a 5 to 7 day lead time on orders.

      Technical Note. Supercharged horsepower and torque numbers shown are a calculated estimate based on percentage increases from actual rwhp/tq measurements.
