How To Install Whiteline Rear Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets for your 2005-2014 Mustang

Tools Required
  • 15mm Socket
  • 18mm Socket
  • 19mm Socket
  • 22mm Sort and deep socket
  • Socket Wrench
  • Torque Wrench
  • Breaker Bar
  • Screwdriver to help align holes
  • Jack and Stands or Ramps
  • Adjustable box end wrench to help it narrow spots
  • Maybe a pry bar (I didn’t need one)

Installation Instructions: 

Before you begin: Lift the rear end of your car, and put jack stands under the axle. 


Passenger Side removal: 


Step 1: Remove factory axle weight 15mm 

Step 2: Remove factory lower control arm bolt 18mm 


Passenger side install: 

Step 1: Reinstall factory axle weight using original bolt, if not using axle weight, use supplied 30mm long bolt, and don’t tighten yet. TQ spec 129ft/lb 

Step 2: Install 100mm long bolt with gold tube in the center and nyloc nut towards the rim. Don’t tighten yet. TQ spec 129 ft/lb 

Step 3: Install 30mm long fine thread bolt and but, Tighten to 129 ft/lb (See next photo for tip) 

Step 4: Position lower control arm in place (may need pry bar), install 100mm long bolt and nyloc nut (nut must face the rim) Tighten to 129 ft/lb. NOW tighten bolts in step 1 and 2 to spec 



Driver Side Removal: 

Step 1: Remove Factory axle weight 15mm bolt 

Step 2: Remove factory panhardt bar bolt 

Step 3: Remove Factory control arm bolt 18mm 


Driver Side Install: 

Step 1: Install 100 long bolt with gold tube in the center and nyloc nut towards the rim. Don’t tighten yet. TQ Spec 129 ft/lb 

Step 2: Reinstall factory panhard bolt with factory nut, tighten to 129 ft/lb 

Step 3: Insert 8mm spacer in the spot shown in photo and reinstall factory axle weight, if not using axle weight use 30 mm bolt provided and tighten to 129 ft/lb 

Step 4: Align lower control arm (may need pry bar), install 100mm bolt and nyloc nut facing the rim, tighten to 129 ft/lb. NOW tighten bolt in step 1 to spec. 







Make sure to re-check all bolts after 100 or so miles.
