1. Ensure vehicle is on a flat hard surface.
2. Remove lug nuts from wheel with 3/16 Deep-well socket.
3. Once you have loosened all lug nuts you will need to raise the car by using a jack. Tire will need to be off the ground for removal.
4. Remove tire and begin the process of installing your new brakes. There will be two bolts that hold your brake caliper in place. You will need a 13 mm wrench or socket to remove them. Below is front view of caliber.
5. You will now use your 13mm socket/wrench to remove the brake calipers. Screws are on the rear as shown below.
6. Use flathead screwdriver to break free brake caliper.
7. Remove old brake pads.
8. Remove old clips, new ones provided.
9. Below is a picture of new pads and accessories included.
10. Old pads next to new pads.
11. Apply brake lube on the back of pads to reduce brake noise (supplied with kit).
12. You will now need to turn your brake caliper piston clockwise to collapse it for new brake installation. You will now use your disc brake piston tool and possibly needle nose pliers to achieve this. The best way to hold the caliper in place is use you bolt and secure the brake caliper in place to screw in your piston.
13. Once the piston is screwed in it will be flush with the piston.
14. You will now install new pads and place caliper back on using 13 mm socket/wrench.
You will install tire and let the jack down. You are now ready for the opposite side installation. Aprox. time for both sides is 1 hour.
