Quality Construction. Manufactured from premium quality 1541H high-alloy steel, this Yukon Axle is heat-treated for superior strength that is up to 25% stronger than your Mustang’s OE axles. Yukon Gear uses a rolled spline process that produces an axle spline that is up to 30% stronger than standard cut splines.

Direct Fit Upgrade Replacement. Yukon designed their Axles to be a direct fit upgrade replacement for your Mustangs factory axles. Even though installation is a straight forward process with no modifications required, professional installation is highly recommended.

Required Upgrade. Please note that this Yukon Gear Axle does not include any wheel studs. Seeing that no wheel studs are included with this Axle, you will need to purchase new ones to match your factory lug nuts.

Application. This Yukon Gear 31-Spline 5-Lug Driver Side Axle is designed for Ford Mustang models equipped with 8.8" ring and pinion gears, including 2005-2014 GT, 2011-2014 V6 and 2007-2009 GT500 models.

Application Note. 1986-2004 V8 Mustangs came factory equipped with 28 spline axles, except for 2003-2004 SVT Cobras which were 31 spline. All 2005 and newer V8 Mustangs come equipped with 31 spline axles.
