      Description

      Rebuild 8.8" Rear End. It's no easy feat to swap out your rear gears so you might as well do it right while the housing is apart. When you're installing new gears in your Mustangs 8.8" rear differential, you should be sure all the seals and bearings are in great condition as well. This is particularly true if your Pony has more than 60,000 miles on it. A Yukon Gear Bearing Install Kit would be a great option for your 8.8" rear gear swap and ensures against the need for another costly teardown and rebuild at a later date.

      Quality Components. In the effort of saving a few bucks if you already have some shims on hand, this Yukon Gear Kit utilizes high quality Timken bearings and races and comes with a few other necessary parts, such as a pinion seal, crush sleeve, marking compound and a brush. Yukon Gear backs their install kit with there 1-Year Warranty against manufacturer defects.

      Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010, Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Because of this, a new 8.8" rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) will be required for proper installation. Please see ordering option above.

      Application. This Yukon Gear Bearing Install Kit is designed for use in Mustangs that have an 8.8" rear end differential, such as 1986-2014 V8 and 2011-2014 V6 models.
