Featuring a much steeper ratio than your original factory installed gears these 4.56 Yukon Gears are ideally suited for drag racers who are looking to increase low end torque for faster off the line acceleration and quicker elapsed times.
4.56 Gear Ratio. 4.56 Ring and Pinion Gears are a great choice for those who are looking for faster acceleration and quicker 60 foot times. However, it should be noted that you will see a noticeable decrease in fuel economy when compared to your original factory installed gears. While 4.56 gears can be used on the street they are really intended for drag race applications.
Quality Construction. Made from incredibly durable forged 8620 triple alloy steel for superior strength, Yukon backs their Ring and Pinion with a 1-year limited warranty. Yukon also takes full advantage of the most up to date state of the art technology in their design and manufacturing process. No matter how you look at it, this gear set is built to last.
Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your Mustangs speedometer, but a Handheld Tuner is a quick and easy way to fix this issue.
Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of Ring and Pinon Gears can be a very intricate process, so mechanical experience is highly recommended. Follow the included instructions for best results.
