      Description

      Improve Performance. Get your classic V8-powered Fox Body Mustang up and moving faster by installing a set of 4.11 Yukon Gears. Ideal for both street and track applications, these 4.11 Yukon Gears will place your V8 powered Pony into its power band much quicker for faster off the line acceleration and more low end grunt.

      4.11 Gear Ratio. 4.11 Gears are a great choice for increasing the performance of your daily-driven Mustang. However, it should be noted that you will see a slight decrease in fuel economy when compared to your original factory installed gears. So, if want better acceleration and don't mind a modest cost increase at the pump, a set of 4.11 ratio Gears will give you the added performance you want without breaking the bank.

      Quality Construction. Made from incredibly durable forged 8620 triple alloy steel for superior strength, Yukon backs their Ring and Pinion with a 1-year limited warranty. Yukon also takes full advantage of the most up to date state of the art technology in their design and manufacturing process. No matter how you look at it, this gear set is built to last.

      Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your Mustangs speedometer, but a new Speedometer Gear is an inexpensive way to fix this issue.

      Application. This 4.11 Yukon Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 1979 to 1985 V8 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 7.5" rear end. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above.

      Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.
