Zex Blackout. Is the standard "Purple" Zex kit a little to flashy for your taste? Well then checkout the Zex Blackout Nitrous System available from AmericanMuscle. The Zex Blackout System delivers the same exact power as before just with a subtle new look. The kit features a black powder-coated bottle, plate, fittings and carbon fiber-style hoses for an unprecedented new look.
Gain Up to 125HP. ZEX Wet Injected Nitrous Systems include 75, 100, and 125 shot jets that will get your Pony flying down the track faster than you ever thought possible for less money than you'd believe. It doesn't get cheaper to add that much power to your Mustang.
Advanced Electronic Control. ZEX's Wet Injected Nitrous system uses patented "Active Fuel Control" that automatically adjusts nitrous fuel enrichment with bottle pressure. The result is that your engine never runs too rich or too lean, preventing engine damage. Unlike other less expensive systems, the ZEX "Wet" nitrous systems activate at wide-open throttle using advanced electronics that monitor your engine's throttle position sensor voltage to ensure activation at precisely the right time. This makes using your nitrous system very easy and reliable.
Better Nitrous Delivery. Unlike "dry" nitrous systems which inject nitrous directly, ZEX Wet Nitrous Systems connect to your fuel system and controls the amounts of fuel and nitrous using their management unit. The result is better control, complete fuel atomization, and more power.
Application. This Zex Blackout Nitrous Kit is designed for use on the 1986-2004 5.0 and 4.6 V8 Mustangs with the stock fuel rails. System requires a minimum fuel pressure of 40 PSI.
