2008-2023 Dodge Challenger Mid-Pipes

When the performance of your Challenger’s exhaust begins to degrade, it could be that you need a mid pipe replacement. The mid pipe is a section of tubing that runs between the exhaust muffler and the catalytic converter beneath your car. Its function is to enhance the power and sound that is generated by the exhaust system. Get the 2008-2023 Challenger mid pipes from us to upgrade your system.

We offer the mid pipes in both the H and X styles. H-mid pipes feature a tube that connects perpendicularly to the mid pipe tubes to form the letter ‘H’ whereas X mid pipes have the tubes crossing in an ‘X’ manner. The difference between the two is not just in their form, they also differ in what they offer.

H-pipes produce a deep, rumble-like tone and provide more power in lower RPMs. If their old classic sound is not your thing, you can go for the X-pipes which produce a more high-pitched and raspy tone. The X-pipes also boost more torque in the higher RPMs. It is recommendable that you have both for equalization of pressure in the exhaust system.

While some mid pipes come with catalytic converters, also referred to as cats, others will not have them. The cats are meant to remove any contaminants from the exhaust systems. In other words, they make the emissions environmentally friendly. Mid pipes without cats are used for off-road applications as they may not be allowed on the public road, depending on your state’s emission laws. They, however, offer more horsepower and torque.

You will find our mid pipes majorly in the standard length but you can also get short ones. Standard length mid pipes will work well with your stock exhaust set up as well as your aftermarket headers and cat backs. Shorty mid pipes, on the other hand, are designed to be used only with aftermarket long tube headers. Be sure to confirm what exhaust components you have in your Challenger before buying.

Mid-pipes are the small-but-important link in the exhaust system between the headers (or cat section) and the rest of your exhaust out to the rear mufflers near the back of your car. If you’re still running with the stock exhaust manifolds on your Dodge Challenger, you might have downpipes running to the secondary cat section. If you install aftermarket headers, you’ll want mid-pipes that bolt up to the headers and connect to the rest of your exhaust system. Mid-pipes give you the opportunity to tune the performance and sound of your Challenger’s exhaust. Depending on the style and construction of mid-pipes, the exhaust sound can completely change character. Our Challenger mid-pipes are available as H-pipes and X-pipes. They both do the same primary job, allowing equalization of pressure pulses between the two banks of your V6 or V8 engine. Our X-pipe designs provide the least resistance to gas flow, so the exhaust gases simply find the easiest and fastest way out to the back of your car. You get higher efficiency at higher revs and an exhaust tone more like an exotic car. Our H-pipe designs force more of the gases to stick to their original paths, with a little bit of bleed-through letting the exhaust pressures balance. You get more of a boost at lower revs and maintain more of the rich, low rumble that we’ve come to love in our muscle cars. Our mid-pipes are designed and manufactured by some of the biggest names in the performance exhaust business, so you know you’re getting the best possible exhaust parts available. Depending on the individual component, mid-pipes are made from aluminized steel or stainless steel. In both cases, these are proven materials with high-performance attributes.
