It features dual high-flow mufflers that enhance exhaust airflow, delivering a fuller, more aggressive roar. Meanwhile, the X-pipe and cross-over tube balance exhaust pulses to reduce interior drone. With this cat-back exhaust, your Challenger will definitely be a head-turner in the looks and sound departments.
More Power and Torque. This cat-back exhaust system delivers significant boosts for both horsepower and torque gains, thanks to its dual high-flow mufflers that increase and enhance exhaust airflow. On the other hand, the X-pipe and the cross-over tube equalize the exhaust pulses. This results in a more aggressive, drone-free roar. Finally, the X-pipe also helps further improve performance as your engine pushes toward higher RPMs.
Made From Mandrel-Bent, MIG-Welded 304 Stainless Steel. For unmatched strength and long-lasting corrosion resistance, AFE used 304 stainless steel to construct this entire cat-back exhaust system. The tubes measure 3 inches in diameter and sport uniform mandrel bends. These facilitate smooth and consistent airflow for that powerful sound and enhanced performance. In addition, all the connection points are MIG-welded to ensure extra-strong joints.
Polished Surface Finish. This cat-back exhaust system has a polished surface finish, which gives the tubes an understated yet still attractive shine. Moreover, polishing the steel removes surface impurities left by the forming process so contaminants won’t stick and speed-up wear and tear. The mufflers, on the other hand, have a high-temperature powder coat for long-lasting corrosion resistance and a rugged look. Finally, the exhaust tips are retained from the stock system for a uniform OE-style appearance.
