Features, Description, Q&A, Specs & Installation
Keep your Mustangs Oil Safe. Help to cool and keep your Mustangs oil flowing properly with this Canton Drag Pro Rear Sump Oil Pan – Steel. This oil pan features a deep rear sump to provide a large pool for your oil to cool down when on the track or street. The rear sump connects to a proprietary oil recovery pouch which helps to speed recovery of the engine oil. The pan has a 7-quart capacity to hold the maximum amount of oil for your engine. The recovery pouch is modeled after pro styles used by racing and drag teams to provide the best oil performance.
Works with Late Model Parts. You can keep using late model, more reliable parts on your mustang, and install this drag oil pan as well. This Canton oil pan works with late model starters and newer long tube headers to work around the new parts you put in your mustang. The oil pan also is able to hold Canton’s pan mounted dipstick for more precise oil level readings to make sure you’re checking the oil correctly. Additionally, a magnetic drain plug is included just in case it gets lost in the oil during changes.
Complex Installation. Installation for this oil pan requires moderate mechanical knowledge, and should take about 2 hours to install.
Warranty. This race oil pan comes with a 90 day limited warranty which covers defects in workmanship or materials.
Application. This Canton Drag Pro Rear Sump Oil Pan – Steel fits all 1979-1993 5.0L Mustang models.
