      Description

      Understanding The A/C Pressure Transducer Valve. The A/C Pressure Transducer Valve is a critical component of your Challenger's A/C system, installing onto a high-pressure A/C line and monitoring the internal pressures of the A/C system. This valve, also known as an A/C pressure switch, sends a signal to your Challenger's TIPM (totally integrated power module), relaying information to the ECM to determine refrigerant pressure. This value is then used to adjust the A/C compressor clutch and engine cooling fan engagement to raise or lower pressure to the desired value, ensuring a safe and efficient A/C system. 

      Replace A Faulty A/C Pressure Transducer Valve. When your Challenger's A/C Pressure Transducer Valve fails, the air conditioning system isn't equipped to deal with correct pressures and temperatures, often resulting in intermittent or non-functional air conditioning. If you've recently noticed that your Challenger's A/C operates intermittently, blows hot air, or fails to turn on, it may be time to replace the A/C pressure transducer valve. Note: replacement involves depressurizing and draining refrigerant from the system and should only be handled by a professional.
