      Don’t buy

      I had a P0520 code for my challenger with the 3.6L pentastar and went ahead and replaced the whole oil filter housing because of the know issue with this motor. There were other codes related to this problem as well. they all went away besides the P0520 code and now I have to pay my mechanic to take everything apart again to access the sensor and replace it with an oem mopar sensor. Just spend the extra money and get the better sensor.

      Helped with a P4150 Code

      I was filling up at a gas station and when I went to start back up it stuttered and died. Had to give it the beans to get it to start back up, and when I went to O'reilly's to get it scanned it came back with "inability to bleed up fuel tank vacuum" often due to a faulty EVAP purge valve. I ordered it from AM and installed it in about 30 minutes, it's right on top of the motor underneath the plastic engine cover. The old valve rattled when you shook it. 95k miles. Upon restarting back the light persisted, when I cleared it the code stayed as a Permanent code. New Mustangs have additional drive cycle requirements that until they complete they will store codes to prevent people from skimping emissions testing. If the light comes back on get it cleared and drive drive drive. Scan it again after a couple of days and see if that fixed your problem. Not a guaranteed fix but a good place to start.
