Description

This brake kit is designed to give your muscle car the superior braking it needs to slow down or stop at the exact moment that you want it to. What’s more, the premium-grade materials used in making this kit give it incredible performance and longevity even in sustained high speeds, making it perfect for cruising down long straightaways. With this kit installed, you’ll never have to worry about having efficient braking power ever again.
Heavy Duty G3000 Cast Iron Rotor Construction. The Talon series rear brake rotors that come included in this kit are constructed only from the highest quality G3000-graded iron castings. This gives them exceptional durability that will see them through intense and sustained driving conditions. They are also cross-drilled and slotted in order to run as cool as possible, ensuring performance even in extreme temperatures. Finally, they’re shielded with a Magni™ coating to make them resistant to corrosion damage.
Drilled, Slotted, and Vented Rotors. The rear rotors that come included with this Hawk Performance Talon Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotor & Ceramic Pad Kit feature holes and vents. The holes help eliminate brake dust and water from the rotor surfaces, allowing for cleaner surface area contact throughout. The vents meanwhile help cool the pads and the rotors by allowing air to circulate more freely among the moving parts. This ensures excellent performance while also reducing wear and tear caused by excessive heat.
Ceramic Compound Brake Pads. The brake pads that are included in this brake system kit are made from premium-grade ceramic compound. This makes them perfect for high-performance cars that operate in consistently high speeds, as ceramic is a very heat-resistant material. Having these brake pads installed ensures that your Dodge Challenger’s brakes will never overheat, no matter how fast you’re going when they’re engaged or how hot the weather is.
Minimized Brake Dust and Screeching. The combination of slots, holes, and vents on the rotors as well as ceramic brake pads ensure that brake dust production is kept minimal.
