Mustang Polished Stainless Steel Hood Hinge Covers ('79-'93) - Installation Instructions

1. Be sure engine is off and cool. We recommend two people do this installation, so the hood hinges do not move out of position.

2. Carefully unbolt one side of the hood hinge from the firewall.

3. The new covers are identical and will fit on either side. Each cover can only go in one direction. Just be sure you install the cover with the polished side facing out.

4. Carefully hand thread each of the four new polished bolts and washers(supplied withthis kit)into the firewall while holding the hood steady.

5. Once you have installed the one side, tighten it securely with a socket. Then proceed to install the other side and tighten securely.

6. Carefully shut the hood and be certain the alignment has not moved. To clean covers use a damp cloth.
