Stop on a Dime. The PowerStop Track Day Front and Rear Brake Rotor and Pad Kit is the brake pad and rotor upgrade you need when you want to transform your Challenger into a track day star. This brake rotor and pad kit features advanced materials designed to maximize stopping power. This improved braking performance enables your Challenger to stop on a dime, a factor that could help you perform better on a track day.
Robust Rotor Build Quality. These rotors are cast from G3000-grade iron. This material offers superior strength thanks to its high carbon content. A specialized precision-machining process is then employed to ensure a set of front and rear rotors that offer an accurate fit when mounted.
Solid, Vented, and Floating Rotor Design. The included rotors also combine a solid surface, with a vented, floating design all of which work to ensure maximum braking performance. Specifically, the vented and floating design offers improved durability and heat dissipation respectively. These factors help maintain optimal performance, particularly on the track.
High-Tech Carbon-Fiber Metallic Brake Pads. The brake pads that come with this kit feature a high-tech carbon-fiber metallic compound that provides low thermal conductivity and a high coefficient of friction even at higher temperatures. These factors ensure excellent pedal feel and brake modulation as well as maximum resistance to brake fade.
Reduced Dust and Noise Design. Other than excellent performance, this high-tech compound also produces less dust. This eliminates the need for constant cleaning in order to maintain your wheels’ great looks. Additionally, noise is also reduced which makes for a more pleasant drive.
Simple Install Procedure. Installing this PowerStop front and rear brake rotor and pad kit is a relatively simple procedure as these components install without the need for modifications. A bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid is needed and a high-temperature brake pad lubricant. Apart from these, installation requires just standard hand tools.
