Electrical Inline Fuel Pump. Inline fuel pumps are designed for high flow output applications, such as operating a suped-up, forced induction engine. For anything over 40 psi, high flow inline pumps are often recommended in fuel injection units because they need to supply the fuel required to meet acceleration requirements. For that reason, we recommend Vortech’s Challenger Inline Fuel Pump with engines that require a high fuel flow of around 155 LPH to meet your engine’s requirements.Â
High Flow Pump. This fuel pump is rated for around 40 GPH at 90 psi to keep with the demands of a highly powerful engine. This rating does not imply that this fuel pump will supply more fuel to meet acceleration demands. Rather, this is the pressure that the spray nozzle opens under almost all conditions to satisfy low-RPM and high-RPM demands.Â
Sold Separately or as a Kit. Vortech offers inline fuel pumps that scale to your fuel flow needs. In addition, inline fuel pumps are sold individually or as a kit with wires, relays, and fittings necessary for installation.Â
Secure Installation. This inline fuel pump features female threads and ½-inch and 5/16-inch hose barb fittings to install directly to your existing Vortech fuel line system. In addition, each inline fuel pump comes with a hose barb nipple designed to install on the fuel line.Â
Application. The Vortech Challenger Inline Fuel Pump is compatible with all 2008-2023 Dodge Challenger models, though some adaptation may be required.
