      Description

      Competition Styling. This Scott Drake Billet Aluminum Hood Latch and Pin Kit features classic retro 60's styling that looks great on the any 2005 to 2009 Mustang. This is the same style latch kit used by early drag racers on their Mustangs, only now with a modern twist.

      Extra Safety. A Hood Latch and Pin Kit not only looks great, but also adds extra safety to any high performance Mustang. The Scott Drake Hood Latch and Pin Kit securely pins the hood safely to the car to prevent the hood from lifting or flying off at high speeds, a must for all drag racers.

      Won't Harm Paint. These Scott Drake Hood Pins look great, keep your hood securely in place and won’t harm your paint. Scott Drake has gone the extra mile to coat the included lanyards in a flexible plastic to protect your hood's paint from any unnecessary scratches.

      Solid Construction. Made from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the hood pin bezels are precision machined and brushed before being completed in a clear anodized finish. The pins themselves are constructed from steel for superior strength. The Hood Bezels have a 2-1/2" diameter. The Hood Pins are 3-1/2" tall from the end of bolt to the pin opening and have 2-1/4" of thread.

      Straight Forward Installation. Seeing that this a true functional Hood Pin Kit, drilling into your Mustangs hood will be required for installation. Even though drilling is required, installing these Hood Pins is straight forward and can be completed in under two hours’ time. Templates and hardware are included.

      Application. This Scott Drake Billet Aluminum Hood Latch and Pin kit is specifically designed to be used on the 2005-2009 Mustangs equipped with the original stock hood or an aftermarket fiberglass hood.
