We Unveiled a Make-A-Wish® Grand Cherokee and F-150

The 2017 AmericanMuscle Car Show ushered in a new era in the partnership with Make-A-Wish® because the teams delivered two project vehicles to deserving wish recipients. Turn5, the parent company of both AmericanMuscle and ExtremeTerrain, helped make Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford F-150 dream builds come to fruition in August.

Lucas was astonished at the results of his 1996 Grand Cherokee build by the ExtremeTerrain team presented at AM2017 on August 12th. The 18 year-old from Carlisle, Pennsylvania acquired his Jeep himself, and new it was a rough canvas to start. What he wasn’t prepared for was the complete transformation from ExtremeTerrain that started with addressing the exterior with a custom Cobalt Blue paint and black Line-X accents. Next, was replacing the entire interior including the upholstery, seats & dash. After a full-face lift, the team got to work with a 4” lift, front & rear bumpers, new wheels and ample lighting which tied the whole package together and prepared it for off-road excursions.

Then, the AmericanMuscle team delivered Make-A-Wish recipient Levi, of Kempton, PA, with his own 1996 Ford F-150 at the annual Turn5 BBQ. Levi’s initial plan for his build was modest; simply asking for AmericanMuscle to help make his truck more reliable. However, once he connected with Justin the ideas for his build started to flow. The truck got a major facelift with a custom paint job and new upholstered seats. The exterior received smoked lights, black bumpers & tinted windows, giving the F-150 the uniquely aggressive look Levi was after. Performance-wise, it was time to make the truck a little more fun to drive. New cams were added along with a Cold Air Intake and a Flowmaster Dual Exhaust to increase horsepower. Finally, a new stereo system was put in at Levi’s request and the build was topped off with a 4” lift and new 34” wheels for the occasional off-road adventure.
