While some generations ditched these lights, most classic Mustangs have them, and many modern Mustangs, starting with the S197 generation (2005-2014), have them.

These fog lights look great, sure, but what if they could be better? One of the most famous Mustangs out there is the one that was featured in Need for Speed and driven by Aaron Paul – the 2013 GT500 with halo fog lights that really make the front end pop. One of the simplest and most affordable upgrades you can install is a head/tail light cover or new trim that surrounds the light’s housing. For example, you can grab smoked headlight or tail light covers that will complete that murdered-out look if you’re rocking an all-black Mustang. What's more, smoked covers are cheap, easy to install yourself, and they tend to look great on most builds. If you plan on using these covers, we recommend upgrading your headlight bulbs to ensure that you can still see the road at night.
