Step 1: Raise and support the car appropriately so you may access the stock resonator.
Step 2: Line up the new X-pipe with the stock resonator. Use the step down on the front of the pipe as your reference point. Mark and tape the rear stock pipe where you will cut.
Step 3: Support stock Cat-back exhaust AND Resonator. Very carefully cut the areas you marked off without hitting the fuel tank (black plastic covers)
Step 4: Loosen up stock resonator and wiggle it out. You may need to use a flathead screwdriver to undo these clamps.
Step 5: Insert new X-pipe and loosely tighten factory exhaust clamps as you may need to make adjustments later.
Step 6: Place supplied clamps over rear of exhaust and wiggle X-pipe into place and tighten. You may have to loosen/remove stock cat-back for a proper fit.
Step 7: Make adjustments where necessary by lifting and supporting the exhaust system and fully tightening each clamp. You may want to retighten all components after driving for about 50miles or so.
