How to Install Ford Racing GT350/GT350R Style Red Push Start/Stop Button on a 15-17 Mustang

Installation Instructions:

1. Disconnect the battery as you will be push on the engine start button and do not want it to accidently start.

2. Because you will be prying against the center console, go ahead and wrap the end of the pick in electrical tape as well as around the button itself to protect the trim from any scratches

3. Now take the pick and begin to pry from the upper right corner (about 1-2 o’ clock) on the switch. There is two retaining tabs at about 11 o’ clock and 5 o’ clock that you are attempting to get to pop off of the switch body. Take your time and do not rush as to not accidently scratch anything. Eventually the switch will pop off.

4. Line up the new switch with the led on the body and then firmly press in the middle so the snaps click into place on the switch body.

5. Remove tape from the center console and reconnect the battery. Test the switch to ensure the light still works and engine starts.
