Installation Procedure:
1. Turn the steering wheel/tires to one side.
Working on one side of the vehicle, remove the (2) Phillips lower bumper screws (Note: I found that you may have to remove the top screw and then rotate the wheels the other way to access the lower screw.)
2. Repeat screw removal on the other side of vehicle.
3. Using an alcohol prep pad, clean the bumper directly below the front grill. Make sure to clean the entire surface of the bumper, including the top and bottom part of the bumper.
4. Pull up a few of inches of red covering from the 3M tape. You can do this from the side or middle and make sure to pull up a good amount. The goal of this is to be able to align the chin spoiler with most of the tape covered, and then pull off the rest of the tape covering, once the chin spoiler is in place. (Note: the chin spoiler is shown upside down here. The tape will be on the top when placed on the car).
5. Starting with one side of the vehicle put the chin spoiler over the bumper and align the screw holes. Using your fingers, finger tighten the top screw through the chin spoiler hole, bumper hole, and bumper backing hole. (Note: You may want to put both screws in finger tight as shown, just so it has stability when doing the other side of the vehicle.)
6. Repeat (Step 5 ) on the other side of the vehicle. Make sure to lift the chin spoiler up onto the bumper from the bottom, rather than from over the top of the bumper. It may take some bending to get the chin spoiler to slide up into the bumper. (Note: Do not press down on the chin spoiler until you are happy with the placement of it).
7. Make sure you are happy with the placement of the chin spoiler, pull the 3M tape up from underneath the top of the chin spoiler, and then press the chin spoiler into the bumper. Chin spoiler should be placed as pictured below.
