How to Install RedLine Tuning Hood QuickLIFT PLUS System ON 05-14 Mustang

This kit contains the following parts:

• 2 - Hood brackets

• 2 - Fender brackets

• 2- Hood Struts

1.) Open the hood and use the prop rod to secure it in the open position.

2.) Loosen the Hood bracket nut about ½ way as it shows in the picture. 

3.) Insert the base of the hood bracket in the openings in the hood as shown in the picture.

4.) Use a 14mm deep socket to tighten the mounts to the hood

5.) Remove the 10mm fender bolt as shown in the pictures.

6.) Install the fender mounting bracket, facing down as shown in the picture

7.) Install the Gas Strut on the upper bracket, then the lower bracket.

Repeat steps 1-7 on the passenger’s side.
