How to Install a Roush High Flow Upper Grille (11-14 V6)

Note: Use all under car safety and precautions. 

Factory Grille:

Front bumper cover removal
1. Engage the parking brake. For standard, put the transmission in gear. For automatics put it in park.
2. Place wheel chucks in front of and behind both front wheels.
3. Open the hood and use a flat screw driver to remover (8) pin-type retainers from the
radiator shield

4. Remover the upper radiator shield.
5. Remove the (4) pin-type retainers and (4) 8mm bolts from the top of the bumper cover.

6. Remove the 7mm bolts from the left (3) and right (3) sides of the bumper cover near the wheels.

7. Remove the 7mm bolts from the left (3) and right (3) sides of the lower valance near the wheels.

8. Remove the (6) 7mm bolts and the (5) rear 7mm bolts from the lower air deflector

9. Remove the lower air deflector by pulling down and towards the back of the vehicle.

10. Disconnect the (2) side marker lights on the left and right side of the bumper cover

Note: If your vehicle is equipped with fogs lights, disconnect and remove the (6) 7mm
bolts and remove.

11. Pull outward on both sides of the bumper cover at the wheel wells to unsnap the cover.
(may require some force)

12. Pull out and downward on the top of the bumper cover in the middle and remover the
bumper cover.

Grille Removal
1. Release the (14) retaining tabs to remove the grille from the bumper cover.
Roush Grille Installation
1. Position the new grille in the bumper cover.
2. Install (14) U-clips as shown.

1. Note: If your vehicle is equipped with fogs lights, install them now using the (6) 7mm
bolts.
2. Install the bumper cover on the vehicle. (ensure the sides snap back into their locations)
3. Connect the (2) side marker lights on the left and right side of the bumper cover.
4. Install the lower air deflector.
5. Install the (6) 7mm bolts in the front and the (5) rear 7mm bolts of the lower air
deflector. Tighten to 3.2Nm (28lb-in.)
6. Install the 7mm bolts in the left (3) and right (3) sides of the lower valance near the
wheels. Tighten to 3.2Nm (28lb-in.)
7. Install the 7mm bolts from the left (3) and right (3) sides of the bumper cover near the wheels. Tighten to 1.3Nm (12lb-in.)
8. Install the (4) pin-type retainers and (4) 8mm bolts from the top of the bumper cover.
Tighten the bolts to 3Nm (27lb-in).
9. Install the upper radiator shield.
10. Install the (8) pin-type retainers.
