Ryan M Black '01 Cobra

As the car stands right now, I have JLT CAI, Magnaflow X-pipe and SCT Xcal 2. The mod that made the most difference definitely was my custom Bama tune. I have some large plans for the car which include Full suspension overhaul with all new bushing from Full Tilt Boogie Racing along with H&R Race springs, Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates, bump steer kit, FRPP 4.10 gears with LPW diff cover, Stainless Steel Brake Lines and can’t forget the sub-frame connectors.  Then who knows, either nitrous and Eaton swap or a 5.0 stroker motor with high compress that will rev to 8k cause 7k just isn’t enough.

Bama Performance

I got my first Mustang when I was 16, a two tone 91 GT red and silver with a sunroof that did not leak.  And needless to say I was a bit timid to do work on it,  I had not modified any vehicle before outside of installing a CD player. I got working with a friend that had a 95 GT at the time and started doing little things; advancing the timing, removing the air silencer and slowly worked up to some bigger things.  First was doing a Flowmaster cat-back kit and later had a shop to do rear gears on the car.  I turned the car into a factory freak that was leaving burn-out marks all over town. After getting the mod bug and popping my cherry on modding a car I haven’t looked back. I have done full motor swaps, cams and intakes on my cars as well as smaller jobs like brakes and rotors.  It just took getting over that initial fear of breaking something; I then realized that things are bound to break anyways.
